Interactive Session on "India-China Business Partnership" Jointly Organized by ICEC & IMC - 11th August 2006 |
It was an evening where the Indian media and business community in association with the India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC) and Indian Merchants Chamber (IMC), open heartedly held a warm welcome to the newly appointed Chinese Deputy Consul General to India, Mr. Wang Zenhua. Held at the IMC Committee Room, at IMC, Mumbai, the room was abuzz with delegates from various fields, looking forward to hear more on the ever-growing positive developments arising between the two countries |

This year India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC) along with Indian Banks Association (IBA) and China Society for Finance and Banking (CSFB) organized India China Finance Conference in Mumbai for two days April 4 – 5 2007. The objective of the ICFC 2007 was to understand the existing regulatory institutions and practices in the Banking, Insurance and Capital Market of China and India. |

ICEC in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Contemporary Studies and Federation of Indian Small and Micro Enterprises (FISME) organised the 3rd India China Trade and Investment Conference at Suzhou International Expo Center, SUZHOU, P.R. China from June 28th to 30th, 2007. The theme of the summit was “Opportunities and Cooperation for partnership”. |
The 3rd ICEC annual conference brought in around 300 Chinese and Indian enterprises to exchange business information on a one to one basis. The Indian attendees got the opportunity to solicit investments from China and also explore business prospects.
The conference covered almost all the business sectors in China starting from electronics, power, SME’s, chemicals, financial services, construction, trading etc. It also focused on the issues like opportunities and investment in India and China. |
